Everybody loves judging what other people say about George Zimmerman. And they love to complain that other people are judging.

I was judged as judging when I wasn’t judging, I was just facting.

Nobody cared. They judged themselves to be correct.

Penis-Brain vs. Vagina-Brain

I fully understand that women defending women isn’t a situation into which a male should insert himself. And no matter what, I look like a dick here.

That was my mistake: forgetting the “vast difference in perspective.”

When people blindly, militantly and uncompromisingly draw a line in the sand, there is no use in debating. It’s like when saying we should have background checks to prevent convicted criminals from obtaining guns and the gun nuts insist you just want to take their guns. It’s irrational. And untrue. And useless to continue talking. 

I agreed with the sentiments of this person’s blog post. It is thoughtful. I just also happened to think it was kind of extreme in saying that if a boy continues knocking over a girl’s wooden block castle and no parent ever stops him, he will become a rapist. Of course, that translated into me not understanding rape culture in America. Because I have a penis.

Trayvon Martin Found Guilty!

Sanford, FL, Saturday, July 13 – Knock, knock! Who’s there? Justice. Justice was served today as a guilty verdict was reached in the Trayvon Martin murder case. After a long period of ignoring this case until community activists shamed the justice system into action with an unrelenting publicity campaign, the Trayvon Martin case was brought to trial.

I’m sure my friend wasn’t completely aware of the full story since he was away on vacation when it unfurled in the media. That’s why I tried explaining what was really going on.  But the part that actually ‘bunged’ me up was what his friend said.

White people defending their need to act racist without thinking that they’re acting racist is somewhat humorous.

Yet, not.

Oh, and in this post (as I did in Doors of Racist Perception and any others dealing with racism), I will not use the term “N-Word” when “nigger” is appropriate. Because I am a fucking adult.
