This
lying about Obamacare is really getting tedious. Can we finally consider it
ludicrous overkill when previous claims contradict current claims by the Obstructionist
Republican Party? And what the fuck is with the media letting these lies go
unchecked? There are about six true American journalists in the world, and they
can’t cover everything. Step it up, talking heads. My little angertainment blog
can’t make up for all your inept unreporting. And seriously, CNN, portraying everything
as equal is disingenuous, inaccurate and dangerous. And frankly, fucking dumb. Sarah Palin claiming
Obamacare has death panels is not fucking equal to Nancy Pelosi claiming it
doesn’t. One of them is lying. Both Parties are NOT THE FUCKING SAME. Stop
nodding your fucking head at everything politicians from both sides say. Call
their bullshit, you useless fucktards. Displaying brightly-lit rooms with CGI
effects and giant monitors don’t mean shit. Displaying the fucking truth does.
Oh,
yeah. Ratings.
Engoddamnjoy…
After
lying for over a year now that congress is exempt from Obamacare, Michele Bachmann now claims Obamacare caused her to lose her insurance.
Instead of calling her out, Wolf Blitzer replies to this lie by throwing his
head back, pinching his nipples, biting his lip and asking her if she'll go
onto the exchange to purchase a new policy. Bachmann blabbled out this
wide-eyed misinformation, "I’m forced to go into the D.C. health exchange.
I’m waiting until they fix this thing. I’m not going to sit there and frustrate
myself, for hours and hours." The D.C. health exchange, DCHealthLink.com is not connected to the
federal Healthcare.gov site, which
is where the problems are. DCHealthLink is part of the state-run exchanges,
which are experiencing very little problems, if any. Blitzer confronted this
misinformation as an experienced journalist: he drooled and stared vacantly off
into the distance while little insects could be seen gathering food particles
from his beard in preparation for the celebration of insect Thanksgiving.
Bachmann Blitzer interview:
To be clear – very few
people are losing their health insurance or having their premiums jacked up due
to Obamacare. Insurance companies are scamming you. Insurance companies change
their plans by reducing your coverage and jack your prices up every fucking
year. They have been since the
dawn of insurance companies. Because Obamacare prevents this by mandating
insurance companies to cover you and not drop you and stabilize prices by
creating competition within the exchanges, insurance companies are dropping
customers and not telling them about federal subsidies they are entitled to
under Obamacare. Their goal is to cause so much public outrage that Obamacare
is repealed and insurance corporations are again free to monetarily rape you.
Yay, profits. Every
anecdotal circumstance you have seen so far on Hannity or CBS or CNN by people
claiming Obamacare forced insurance companies to drop them and raise their
premiums by 500% or whateverthefuck has been debunked. For the sake of ratings, the media is focusing on
these inaccurate anecdotal instances where Obamacare is affecting garbage
policies - policies that cover basically nothing but at least you are giving an
insurance company money - just don't try to use that insurance. Like I said, it
covers nothing – and they drop you the moment you need them. Obamacare is
forcing insurance companies to actually cover you. Yes, that might cost a
little bit more – to about 5% of the insured. But you’re actually receiving a
service for that payment, now. Instead of just having the ability to say you’re
giving a corporation money.
The state exchanges
are running fairly well, since they don’t have the entire country with which to
deal. And sundry glitches. These are all Democratic Governor-run states, with a
few Republican Governors who care about their people as well.
At least the Affordable Care Act, as well as state exchanges are enjoying some popularity
within Republican states, if not Obamacare.
You fucking
simple-minded, partisan, racist idiots.
The fact of the matter
is this glitch problem was certainly to be expected and could be fixed fairly
well – if that was the desire – as it had been with Bush’s Medicare Part D in the past. Except now we must deal with the President’s hue. And Party
affiliation as well.
Rachel Maddow -
Romneycare lesson: Be patient with Obamacare
Republican obstructionism is killing people. And I don’t
mean that rhetorically. Republicans lie to send people to die for no reason in
wars and lie to people about their ability to obtain affordable health care and
block bills that make it easier for people to survive. All in the name of
protecting corporate profits. Republicans claim to be pro-life. They are not.
Their policies are almost all pro-death. They are anti-gun control,
anti-abortion, anti-birth control, anti-EPA, pro-death penalty, pro-war,
anti-veterans, anti-health care, anti-welfare, anti-family planning, anti-equal
pay, anti-job creation, anti-battered women’s laws, anti-immigration, anti-gay
rights, anti-food stamps, anti-minimum wage hike, anti-Buffet Rule, anti-social
security, anti-prenatal health care, anti-school nutrition, anti-housing,
anti-education, anti-science. And anti-facts.
“Boy, these conservatives are really something, aren't they? They're all in favor of the unborn. They will do anything for the unborn. But once you're born, you're on your own. Pro-life conservatives are obsessed with the fetus from conception to nine months. After that, they don't want to know about you. They don't want to hear from you. No nothing. No neonatal care, no day care, no head start, no school lunch, no food stamps, no welfare, no nothing. If you're preborn, you're fine; if you're preschool, you're fucked. Conservatives don't give a shit about you until you reach military age. Then they think you're just fine. Just what they've been looking for. Conservatives want live babies so they can raise them to be dead soldiers. Pro-life... pro-life... These people aren't pro-life, they're killing doctors! What kind of pro-life is that? What, they'll do anything they can to save a fetus but if it grows up to be a doctor they just might have to kill it? They're not pro-life. You know what they are? They're anti-woman. Simple as it gets, anti-woman. They don't like them. They don't like women. They believe a woman's primary role is to function as a brood mare for the state.” – George Carlin, ‘Back In Town,’ 1996
I do not understand why anyone supports the Republican Party
today. They are against what the majority of Americans want and need. That majority
includes Democrats, Independents and
Republicans. Rachel makes a list:
Yes, 75% of medical bankruptcies are by people who had health insurance - the shitty garbage policies Obama is trying to protect people from - the ones morons are complaining they lost.
Why try to fix this when we can just keep it as is? Right,
Republicans? Think of all the corporate profits that would be lost if we
focused on people instead.
Good day.
P.S. HERE is a
calculator from the Kaiser Family Foundation. It gauges what your premiums and
subsidies will basically be due to Obamacare. I personally don’t qualify for
any subsidies, but my premium is waythefuck lower due to the natural
competition created by the health exchanges.
Thanks, Obama.
