Occupy Richard

You can’t stop Richard. But the United States Military can.

Here’s more right-wing extremist nonsense delivered against the Occupy Movement with all the self-righteous outrage he could muster. He even posted a right-wing extremist article full of invented “facts” to back him up. Apparently, George Soros is funding the world.

I don’t think for a second that the real information I supplied was the reason that Richard removed this thread from his Facebook page. I've been giving him real information for a couple years now, and he hasn't ever removed anything. I’m certain it had to do with the combat veteran friend of his that called him out on his psychotic bullshit.

The names have been changed to protect the innocent and the guilty – and all the shady characters in between.

Enjoy…

Richard
This is why I hate the Occupy movement and anyone dumb enough to support it...

They keep claiming that the problem is the wage gap. They don't say why it is a problem, or if there is supposed to be a gap or not, and if so, how much of a gap, and who gets to set that gap and monitor and enforce it. They just bitch that there is a gap. They claim that government is skewed towards business, without realizing that without business, none of us would have jobs. They refuse to acknowledge that the top 1% they are attacking, pay 40% of the income taxes for the rest of us.

But what really pisses me off, is the fact that this "protest" is funded and orchestrated by Democrats, rich celebs and this is a political ploy, using people that are too stupid to realize that they are being used.

Who supports the 99%?

#1 Yoko Ono Net Worth - $500 million.
#2 Russell Simmons Net Worth - $325 million
#3 Roseanne Barr Net Worth - $80 million
#4 Deepak Chopra Net Worth - $80 million
#5 Kanye West Net Worth - $70 million
#6 Alec Baldwin Net Worth - $65 million
#7 Susan Sarandon Net Worth - $50 million
#8 Michael Moore Net Worth - $50 million
#9 Tim Robbins Net Worth - $50 million
#10 Nancy Pelosi Net Worth - $35.5 million

Not to mention the help they are getting from MoveOn.org, who helped start the entire thing (no, they didn’t), which is partly funded by George Soros. In fact, several of the groups that are helping raise funds, offer advice, helping organize and promote the Occupy Movement, are all tied back to people like billionaire banker, George Soros. (A list to support your claim would be helpful.)

This is a political issue, but not in the way that people think (Yes, for Republicans, it is a political issue because they are protecting their wealthy, corporate donors. To the people who have been systematically screwed out of their earnings and benefits over the past 30 years, it is personal and non-party affiliated.). It's a bunch of kids that have never had real jobs or worked for anything, that have lived off of other people all their lives and want to continue to do so (Unmitigated bullshit much?). They are people who don't understand the basics of economics (No, Richard. It is you who do not understand the basics of economics - as I pointed out in my last blogpost.). People that claim that Wall Street needs to pay its fair share, not realizing that the rich are already paying most of the tax burden (Steeeeerike one!), while the protesters don't pay jack (Steeeeerike twooo!).

These are celebs and other 1%'ers that want to advance a political agenda, and are using ignorant people to do so (Steeeeerike threeee! Yerrrr outtahere!).

Look at the (right-wing, edited) videos, watch the footage, listen to what these mal-contents have to say, and two things are clear (based on the highly edited footage)... 1, is that they don't know what they are really protesting. 2, there is a reason why they don't have jobs, and watching them for 5 minutes it becomes all to clear...

Malcontents? Is it the early 17th century? Have I time-slipped again? Dammit why does this keep happening to me?

This is a stupid movement, and if you are part of it, or support it, do me and you a favor and delete me from your friends list (I’ll get to that at the end.). No, really. Anyone this devoid of common sense or intelligence, I really have nothing to discuss with you, nor would I be able to be honest and say that I have respect for you. (To put it more simply: If you don’t agree with me, then you’re a dick. Nyah!)

Bill Mancuso
Wake up.

Richard

And Alec Baldwin is really on a rampage to support Occupy.... Wait, isn't he a corporate pitch-man for CapitalOne Bank?

Ned
What is "this"?

Tanya
I can't delete you from my friends list, I feel like I need to see what you're doing. I completely support the idea of tax reform, and I support the hard working people who are protesting to promote it. Do I support every freak on the street? No. But I listen for the sanity in the madness.

You have to do that with everything, Richard. The only usable road surface is in the middle.

This is why I think he removed this thread from his page…

Stew
So I'm a malcontented kid who has never had a real job and has lived off of other people all my life? I am a combat veteran with two purple hearts and a bronze star for valor. Just what the fuck were you doing for your country while I was putting my life on the line day in and day out? Just what the fuck have you been doing while I've been lying awake night after night after fucking night with nightmares you can't begin to imagine? What were you up to while I was scraping my friends off the street with a fucking shovel? Take your high and mighty arrogance and shove it up your righteous ass.

Mike
Glad you're keeping an open mind, Dave!

Cam
wow thanks Mr. Beck.

Dave’s Girlfriend
Aren't those the same supporters of F.A.G.? (Great movie. Not a clever reference.)

Bill Mancuso
To support your bullshit, you posted a right-wing extremist article full of even more bullshit than you had already written? Nice one.

This is not a Liberal orchestrated and funded movement no matter how many times you lie that it is in order to make you feel better about lying about it.

United States Marine Corps Sgt. Shamar Thomas is a bitching loser jobless hippie socialist who wants everything for free?

And so are former LA Republican Gov Buddy Roemer; Nobel Prize winning economist Joseph Stiglitz; Olympic champion John Carlos; CitiGroup CEO Vikram Pandit; co-founder of the Pacific Investment Management Company Bill Gross; Lech Walesa - former dock-worker, Solidarity movement founder, 1990-1995 Polish President and Nobel Peace Prize winner; and the countries these cities are located in - London, Rome, Milan, Warsaw, Tokyo, Taipei, Seoul? All are taking part in the Occupy movement.

And you still so completely miss the fucking point. It's not simply about wage gap. All those celebrities you listed are EMPLOYEES. They do not fire employees then give themselves raises and bonuses. They did not take our taxpayer-funded bail-outs and then keep it and list huge profit increases. They do not send jobs overseas. Corporate CEO's do that. Enabled by the politicians they bought.

And you LOVE to repeat that the top 1% pays 40% of income tax. Which is true, but now how about you use ALL the numbers instead of just the cherry-picked ones that support your lie.

Yes, they pay 40% of federal income taxes, but not even fucking close to 40% of ALL taxes. Even people who don't make enough money to reach the bottom tax bracket pay federal payroll and excise taxes - and that has a harder impact on them than it does on the top 1%.

I realize that Republicans claim the CBO is Liberal-controlled when they don’t like the statistics, and non-partisan when they do, but according to the always non-partisan CBO, the top 1% pays about 28% of TOTAL federal taxes, which is fair to their 25% share of TOTAL U.S. income. The actual truth, that you ignore so you can keep proffering your corporate profit-protecting bullshit, is that the top 1% PAYS that much because they MAKE that much.

Income inequality is at its worst since the 1920's. The richest 400 people hold more of the country's wealth than the bottom 50% of the country. And growing. And the richest 10% control 65% of the country's net worth. And growing. And it's not from working hard themselves - it's from working hard at fucking the middle class.

72% of ALL Americans support Obama's proposal to raise taxes on those making over %1 million.

And again, in case you missed it the first several times I've explained this to you, it's not celebrity employees that are the problem, it's corporations firing people to keep a bigger share of profits (that ever happen to you?), sending jobs overseas, giving themselves raises and bonuses, taking our bailouts and listing profit increases while not lending our own money back to us, and getting huge tax breaks from the politicians they bought.

Wake the fuck up. Stop repeating the lies you get from the extreme right-wing corporate-profit-protecting bullshit machine.

But what really pisses me off, is the fact that this "anti-protest" is funded and orchestrated by Republicans and rich corporations and this is a political ploy, using people that are too stupid to realize that they are being used.

Ricky
“72% of ALL Americans support Obama's proposal to raise taxes on those making over %1 million."

So most people support raising taxes on people other than themselves? This isn't exactly a surprise.

"A government that robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul."

Bill Mancuso
Another cherry-picker, I see. A significant portion of that 72% are people making over $1 million like all the celebrities Richard listed. And a significant portion are also Republican. Wake up.

George
Thank you, Bill!

Aside from my specific comments I think you can see how out of touch he is with reality, while simultaneously blaming everyone who doesn't agree with him to be the ones out of touch...

Richard
Bill, who cares about a wage gap? It takes money to make money. Those that have it, use it to make more, and that can grow exponentially.

As long as they didn't steal it (which they did) or come by it illegally (which they did), who the hell are you or anyone else to judge them? (I am part of the 99% that they are stealing illegally from.) Why is it wrong to have more than you? (No one ever said it was. You are yet again using an extreme lie to exaggerate a point that doesn't exist.)

The whole premise is bullshit. (Your premise that the premise is bullshit is bullshit.) We all want to make more, we all want a better life. But some of you feel that it is a Right, and that if someone else has more than you that it is somehow wrong. (Only when they illegally steal it - and in more and more cases, legally steal it through legislation bought from politicians. Legislation that NEVER helps the 99%.)

You are wrong. These protesters are wrong. (Are these facts? Or your opinion?)

Wow, 72% of Americans support passing the buck to someone else, someone who is already paying most of the bill. Shocking. (If that were true, yes, it would be shocking. But your repetition of a lie won't make it magically become true.)

Success is not bad, or at least it didn't used to be. I don't give a shit what someone else makes. Whether they make 1 million or 1 billion, it doesn't change my life at all. (Correct on all points. This, however, is not the issue.)

So like I said, if you are one of these people that just wants to bitch about what everyone else has, do us both a favor and just delete me. I don't have anything to say to you that has not already been said (Because you keep repeating the same handful of lies Rush told you, and any time you are confronted with facts and reality, you ignore them and once more repeat the same lies as if you never heard the truth.), and I think that protecting corporate profits is a good thing, because without them, we are all screwed. (I would really like for this reasoning to be explained to me just once. Just once, that's all I ask.)

I will just take it upon myself to do the deletions. I am just to the point that watching the news pisses me off, and to the people that go along with this bullshit, I consider them petty, jealous and out of touch and I guess I really don't have much in common with you, sorry. (Oh, boo fucking hoo. Why don't you climb down off your cross and use the wood to build a bridge and get over that river of tears you've cried yourself.)

There's a sad sort of clanging from the clock in the hall
And the bells in the steeple too
And up in the nursery an absurd little bird
Is popping out to say "cuckoo"
Cuckoo, cuckoo

Regretfully they tell us Cuckoo, cuckoo
But firmly they compel us Cuckoo, cuckoo
To say goodbye . . .
Cuckoo!
. . . to you

So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, good night
I hate to go and leave this pretty sight

So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, adieu
Adieu, adieu, to yieu and yieu and yieu

So long, farewell, au revoir, auf wiedersehen
I'd like to stay and taste my first champagne

So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, goodbye
I leave and heave a sigh and say goodbye -- Goodbye!
I'm glad to go, I cannot tell a lie
I flit, I float, I fleetly flee, I fly
The sun has gone to bed and so must I

So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, goodbye
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye

Goodbye!

Sad news, true believers. I broke Richard today. Yup. Shortly after he removed this thread from Facebook, he de-friended me. It seems he slowly over the course of our debates slipped further and further into the right-wing hinterlands.

Did I do that?

Damn. I just quoted Steve Urkel.

Richard used to be a Republican. Now I realize he has turned into a far right loon. On his ‘Info’ page on Facebook, he claims under ‘Political Views’ to be “Leaning Republican.” HA! Usually, Republicans who want to pretend they're not biased claim to be Libertarian. That way, they can call Obama names and claim it's his policies they disagree with and not his skin color, because they're not racist Republicans. Just don't ask them any specifics about those policies they disagree with. These days, Libertarians are nothing less than anarchists.

And here are some of his interests – National Rifle Association, BP America, The Heritage Foundation, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, Rush Limbaugh, and The Constitution. There are others, but those were the political ones.

Elsewhere on his 'Info' page, he refers to New Jersey as “The People’s Republik of New Jermany.” It’s because of their strict gun laws. He lives in Georgia now and wears a gun holstered on his hip wherever he goes. He likes to claim it’s his Constitutionally protected right to protect himself. I think he’s making up for a little member.

I’ve been de-friended on Facebook before. It seems that only people who blindly follow something can’t stand up to scrutiny. They only want to be surrounded by like-minded people to back up their pre-conceived ideals. And they never let facts get in the way of those pre-conceived ideals. No one ever learns anything if everyone agrees with everything everybody says all the time. Those people are weak in their convictions. And ignorant. Willingly so.

Oh, well. I’ll miss those debates. Fear not, though. I still have a bunch I haven’t posted on this blog yet. As well as my rants.

Stay tuned…

UPDATE:
I heard from a friend who is still allowed to be friends with Richard on Facebook that he did not take down the thread. It's that I only have a limited view of what he posts on his wall now, since I'm no longer part of his inner circle.

He did, however, also de-friend Stew, the soldier that thoroughly destroyed his ignorant bullshit, and George, who thanked me for what I said. I can still see his 'friends' list.

My friend also said that the thread continued as if we were never there. Which makes sense. The two people who pointed out how full of shit Richard is were removed from the thread and now he is able to spew diarrhea from his mouth completely uncontested.

Because he's a fucking coward who doesn't believe his own lies.

  1. Good riddance. The NY Post tried (like RIchard here) to call my family dirty hippies who were putting our kids at risk because we care enough to inform our children about what they're up against....and ask them to help with the solution to this mess. People like Richard had plenty to say....going as far as calling my beautiful six year old a "future STD Petrie dish" (really? What is that based on? Oh right....Occupy Wall Street is just a big orgy for the lazy and unemployed ). Actually, it was tough for us to work out being there multiple times....seeing as I'm working ridiculous hours to make income to support that hippie family. I was also called out personally as being the problem. Yes I work for a large corporation. The 1% wants it that way. But some of us don't stop there. We also work in other ways to help those less fortunate....we spend time with our solutionary hats on.....time listening to everyone....strapping on a gun doesn't make sense to us ( I guess our dicks are plenty big, though...being stretched out from all the orgy-ing, and all). We work through our fear about this planet and our lives rather than perpetuating it. And we certainly don't have time for the kind of posting that Richard does....you can't be his only sparring partner....he's not self-employed, right? So he's ranting while on some corporate clock?
I'm relieved he's set you free, Billy. That kind of madness Is negative energy. Its insulting to you who is thoughtful enough to take it all in, while trying to make sense out of the madness. Put your powerful energy elsewhere. Not everyone has the ability to sort this stuff out (*MKG raises hand here*). OCCUPY RICHARD!

  2. I read that article. It was peachy. Full of outright lies and vile, factless insinuations.

Yeah, I was wondering if he ever worked. Our scrimmages would go on all day long sometimes. I work from home, so it's no bother. If he was at work, wouldn't somebody notice he was on FB all day? It wasn't just me he interacted with, either. The other Facebook column on the right side of the Facebook page would scroll (and you can't NOT look over) and he'd be posting all day on other people's pages, too.

And he was downsized a couple years ago. He likes to say he used to make over $100 thou a year and now he's only making a third of that but he doesn't blame Wall St. or "the successful corporation." I wonder who he does blame if not the people responsible.

And to be completely honest, I wish he didn't excommunicate me. The ignorance and negative energy from him and people like him only makes me stronger. Every time they say something, I research it and find out the truth. And write it down for all to see. The problem is, those people do not care about the truth. And that is a fact. How can I claim what someone thinks is a fact? Because Richard and all like him at some point inevitably say "I don't care."
