15 Differences

We always hear people say ‘both Parties are the same.’ That’s usually spoken by people on the right who know their Party is completely fucked in the head, but just can’t bring themselves to admit it. The closest they can get to admitting it is to make that claim of equivalence.

Yes, it’s true that there is some overlap – some Democrats take giant oil contributions, some Republicans believe it’s everyone’s Constitutional right to vote – but it’s what the majority of Party members stand for that counts. It’s what drives the Party as a whole.

I was working on a list that that points out the differences in Party ideologies, but someone beat me to it. Nevertheless, I want to highlight these differences. So, I’m just going to share the list created by Jeff (no last name) and posted on AddictingInfo.org. Many items on Jeff’s list were similar to mine – of course, mine had more ‘fucks.’

I’ll have a little something to say afterward. Enjoy…

Pivot

Here’s the sequel to Talking Point Argument from last week.

This guy is precious. When you live in a world where you only read the headlines of right-wing articles (World Net Daily: KENYAN-BORN GAY MUSLIM SOCIALIST OBAMA REPEALS FREEDOM!) and watch Sean Hannity promos (“Next on Hannity: Obama unconstitutionally killed four American patriots in Benghazi!LibertyfreedomJesus!”), it’s very easy to slaughter your hilarious proclamations and feast on their entrails.

Of course, that doesn’t mean you won’t ignore real facts and blame me for ignoring “your” facts (that aren’t facts).

Talking Point Argument

Obamacare is already the law. Has been for three years. There is nothing to negotiate.

That doesn’t stop Republicans (or Not-Republicans?) from repeating easily debunked Republican talking points. And this guy is precious. He’ll be in the next blog post, too. That one’s going to be even more fun.

For me.

Anyway, enjoy…

Feigned Negotiation Tactics

The Affordable Care Act, affectionately known as “Obamacare” was signed into law on March 23, 2010 – 3 years and 6 months ago. Pay attention to what I just said.
