Hey. North Carolina. Amendment One of your State Constitution does not ban gay marriage. That's already illegal in your state. It can't be super-duper double illegal. But what you did vote for was to ban ALL legal rights for ALL unmarried couples - not just the gay ones. Hm. I see you're not smart enough to figure out what that means. Having a little trouble seeing through your bigotry-colored glasses? Here. Let me help you. What it means is that the hundreds of thousands of unmarried (straight) couples in your state who had some form of recognized legal status, such as: child custody, child health care, hospital visitation rights and protection from domestic violence - is gone. Businesses have also expressed their concern that North Carolina's Amendment One will now deter top entrepreneurial talent from moving to the state for work and drive out current residents since unmarried couples have had several basic rights removed. So, congratulations to your hate-fueled, backward-thinking minds for hurting all families and driving away jobs. Well done. Asking for a majority vote on minority rights is always a good idea. For bigots.

The Republican National Committee held a conference call with reporters prior to President Obama's campaign kick-off speech in Ohio on Saturday, 5/05/12. Their main focus was to blast the President for failing to create jobs here in America. The call center the RNC used was a firm located in the Philippines

Due to the overwhelming amount of anti-women legislation being drafted by the Republican Party, the Democrats started calling it the "Republican War On Women."

RNC spokesman, Sean Spicer was outraged at the Democrats' hyperbolic use of the word 'War,' explaining, "I find it offensive that the Democratic National Committee is using a term like that to describe policy differences... it's downright pathetic they would use a term like 'war' when there are millions of Americans who actually have engaged in a real war. To use a term like that borders on unpatriotic."

Unpatriotic, you say?

Some Republican headlines of the past three years: Obama's War on Appalachia, Obama's War on Coal, Obama's War on Religion, Obama's War on Free Enterprise, Obama's War on Jobs, Obama's War on Oil, Obama's War on Christmas, Obama's War on Business, Obama's War on Veterans, Obama's War on Wildlife, Obama's War on Domestic Energy Production, Obama's War on American Values, Obama's War on Dogs, Obama's War on Fossil Fuels, Obama's War on Farms, Obama's War on Americans, Obama's War on Stay-at-Home-Moms and my all-time favorite, Obama's War on Women.

When Romney loses in November, which of these reactions do you think the Republican Party will have?

1. OK. We've gone too far. We've alienated women, blacks, gays and lesbians, the young, Latinos - we need to reign in our extremist policies a bit in order to gain back voters.

2. FUCK! WE HAVEN'T DONE ENOUGH! THE BITCH-WHORES, NIGGERS, FAGGOTS, GODDAMN CHILDREN AND SPICS ARE STILL ABLE TO VOTE! HOW CAN WE SUPPRESS THOSE FUCKERS EVEN MORE!?

Due to Obama's 80% support vs. Romney's 12% support by Hispanic voters, on Tuesday, 5/08/12, the RNC held an event highlighting Republican Party support of the Hispanic community. No, seriously. At the event, the RNC's Director of Hispanic Outreach, Bettina Inclan was asked about Mitt Romney's position on immigration. She probably should have expected such a question at such an event. She did not, "As a candidate, to my understanding, he's still deciding what his position on immigration is." The whole thing kind of went down a jibber-jabbery slope from there.

To be clear, we know exactly what Romney's position is. He said he would veto the DREAM Act, he believes Arizona's SB 1070 is a model for the nation's immigration law and he is hilariously in favor of "self-deportation" (which was actually a satirical movement started in the 90's by Hispanic political cartoonist, Lalo Alcaraz, in California).

In this link, Reverend Welton Gaddy explains to Rachel Maddow why religious extremists and historical revisionists should not have been granted permission by Speaker of the House, John Boehner to use taxpayer-owned Statuary Hall at the U.S. Capitol for a venomous, hate-filled prayer event.

Here's the infamously wrong Op-Ed that Mitt Romney wrote in 2008: Let Detroit Go Bankrupt

Here's what Mitt Romney said during the CBS Early Show interview in November 2008: "There's no question that if you just write a check that you're just going to see these companies go out of business, ultimately."

Here's what Mitt Romney said during Larry King Live interview in March 2009: "Bailouts of enterprises that are in trouble, that's not the right way to go. And I know President Bush started it with the auto industry. I thought it was a mistake."

Here's what Mitt Romney said during the CNBC debate in November 2011: "My view with regards to the bailout was that whether it was by President Bush or by President Obama, it was the wrong way to go."

Here's what Mitt Romney said during a Piers Morgan Tonight interview in June 2011: "The bailouts were a mistake."

Aaaaaannnnd here's what Mitt Romney said in an interview with WEWS-TV in Cleveland on Monday, 5/07/12: "My own view, by the way, was that the auto companies needed to go through bankruptcy before government help. And frankly, that's finally what the President did, he finally took them through bankruptcy. That was the right course I argued for from the very beginning... I pushed the idea of a managed bankruptcy. And finally, when that was done, and help was given, the companies got back on their feet. So, I'll take a lot of credit for the fact that this industry's come back."

Aaaaaannnnd Mitt Romney blamed Obama for Oldsmobile closing down. Which happened in 2004.
