Multitudinous Matters

It’s amazing all the shit that happens in only a matter of a couple days. And this only scratches the surface of the surface.

Enjoy…

So, Yahoo! News ran a story about a woman from Abilene who got a $1.3 million electric bill one month. It turned out that there was just a computing error and the electric company was going to send out her corrected bill. Humorous little story. No biggie.

Aside from all the brainiacs that feel the need to complain in the comments section that it’s not news and Yahoo! just wasted their time again (because apparently EVERY news story needs to be devastatingly Earth-shattering), there were a few clever replies that made me chuckle like this one: “I guess everything is bigger in Texas.”

However, a large portion of THESE perennial fuck-wits appeared with their ever-intelligent remarks, as they seem to in every comments section of every article, no matter what the topic is:

“I thought maybe Obama had bought into utility companies now when I saw the hedline.”

“Find out how the electric power is generated, i.e. what kind of fuel do they use? Then attach the dynamo to ET Obamonkey for a great increase to the grid.”

“I can hear Obama Say! Let me be perfectly Clear, It was Bush's FAULT!”

“I thought this was a Story about how Obama has the Federal Government does there Math!”

“OWE-Bummer will figure out some way to blame it on Bush...”

“DAMN!! i thought OBUMMER got his way already with the electricity (necessarily sky rocketing) on his "plan" when i saw this... man thats a relief! get that muslim outta office b4 we do have to pay a bill like that!!!!!”

“She needs to convert to Solar or Wind...Obama will foot the bill for her with your tax dollars...”

“The bill won't be unrealistic if Obama gets a second term. Somebody has to pay for his green agenda failures. That would us taxpayers.”

“waaaah waaaah waaaaah.... just pay the bill and make companies like GE and Solyndra who pay no taxes happy. Obama 2012 nope.”

“"tries to make ends meet. … I get my bills and I pay them.". WOW... she is TONS better than Obama! Can we elect her instead?”

“Get use to it. If Obama wins another 4 years EVERYTHING is going to be taxed to h3ll and overpriced.”

“Well Obama said that our energy prices would need to skyrocket.”

“Obamas idea of a ballanced budget for the government. Charge the governments bills to a different person each month.”

“We'll ALL be hit with $1.3 million after the Food Stamp President is done.”

“That bill was supposed to go to the White House I bet. Makes sense to me.”

“More of Obama's "change you can believe in". This is actually the normal bill after another 4 years of Obama and his cronies in control, get used to it.”

“Obama's green energy is working well isn't it...”

“No that is the rate next year after Mr. Obama is reelected.”

“It's Berry Obamas idea of what the rates should be under his enviromental guide lines.”

“Precisely where Obama wants energy bills.Bet he was proud of that.”

Then there are these kinds of nutters:

“Ooo ok hau olld is she 350 yer n she dont pay her bill for vholll har life i think.”

A large portion of the Obama-aimed comments (I did not include them all, many were obviously just repeated brainwashings) claimed that Obama wants energy prices to increase.

In an interview a while ago, he stated that in order for the alternate energy movement to really get a lot of support, current energy prices would need to skyrocket. Which is true. He was stating the obvious that in most situations, a fire is usually lit under a problem before any real action is taken.

Of course, after reading these uninformed comments, I realized that on FOX “News” and right-wing radio it was reported that “Obama wants energy prices to increase!” leaving out the context.

A misinformed follower is an obedient follower.

Job numbers are getting worse.

This is the lie that Mitt Romney’s entire campaign rests on: the idea that we will all be better off under his Republican rule since Obama is a dismal failure at creating jobs. Since jobs are indeed, for a fact, increasing (in spite of continued Republican filibustering of every real job-creating bill), the Romney campaign is asking Republican Governors to stop boasting about their improving state economies since this contradicts his manufactured narrative. Two officials on Florida Republican Governor Rick Scott’s re-election campaign confirmed they were asked by the Romney campaign to stop letting everyone know the positive facts. It just might be a little difficult for the Governors, who also are running for re-election, to have campaigns that say they personally suck.

So, Mittens, you might want to change your campaign narrative from “Obama made the economy worse” to “Despite 100% Republican obstructionism, Obama has at least managed to keep America alive.”

Other than falsely claiming Obama made the economy worse so we should vote for you and that you will do the opposite of everything Obama wants to do and that you will undo all the things Obama has done, what is your actual platform, Romney? Aside from being a member of the Party of NO, what EXACTLY do you stand for?

Here is EXACTLY what Mitt Romney stands for…

You dick.

Did you ever try to sell anything you own? Did you ever have a garage sale? Did you ever buy anything off of ebay or Craigslist?

Well, all that may soon be illegal.

That’s right. Depending on a Supreme Court decision, anything you purchased that has even one part made overseas (which is almost everything) may require you to get permission from the corporation that holds the copyright if you want to resell it – which they will inevitably deny since they would rather a new item was bought from them for a profit instead of second-hand from you.

No one will be able to own anything they buy. It will still belong to the corporation.

If the Supreme Court upholds the lower court’s decision:
Want to sell your car? Can’t. Want to sell some DVD’s? Can’t. Want to sell any old clothes? Can’t. Want to sell your baby’s changing table or any old toys? Can’t. CD’s? Nope. Camera? Uh-uh. Your house? Hope it doesn’t have any fixtures made in China. You may be fined or imprisoned for breaking newly interpreted copyright law.

Ebay – gone. Craigslist – gone. Amazon – deeply affected.

Because the rich still aren’t rich enough.

“Corporations are people, my friend.” – Mitt Romney

Feel like doing what you can about it?

I told you about LiberalLogic101 the other day. A friend posted this on Facebook:

This was my response:

Conservative Logic 101:

Don’t give a man a fish…
…because that’s Socialism.

Don’t teach a man to fish…
…because we need to cut teachers from the government payroll since that is also Socialism.

Give a corporation a tax break for sending jobs overseas, ignore the fact that it’s Socialism for the wealthy, then tell your constituents that corporate profits will “trickle down” even though it never, for a fact, ever has…
…and he will vote Republican for a lifetime.

(Yes, they are that stupid.)

- Nobody responded.

Hey, I wonder if that wealth ever trickles down to the foreigners working the American jobs that the corporations sent overseas?

How come all the people that incessantly call everyone “sheeple” are always the ones obediently repeating thoroughly debunked right-wing nonsense? And right-wing phrases like “sheeple?”

Oh, yeah. It’s called “projection.”

Nevermind.

34 Lawmakers Changed Their Investments After Receiving Private Briefings About 2008 Economic Crisis and continue to do so today with impunity due to the laws they write to allow themselves to do it. But at least that insider trading bitch Martha Stewart learned her lesson after being sent to prison.

Does Congress wonder why they have a 17% approval rating? At least it’s up from the 10% a few months ago.

Throw the bums out. All of them.

Well, it’s been 11 years since the first round of Bush tax cuts. The government better start raising taxes again so corporations will be forced to stop creating so many jobs. We don’t have enough American citizens to fill them all as it is. That’s why they’re being sent overseas.

I learned something very interesting from a Conservative recently.

The Democrats created welfare as a program that intentionally prevents you from ever getting out of it just to force you to take your only option, which is to join the military, just so the Democrats can have the personnel to fight all the wars they keep starting.

I found that interesting. Don’t you find that interesting?

I also learned from the same Conservative that Nixon got us out of the Vietnam war.

I did not find that interesting. I found that fascinating.

On June 21, 2012, the US Supreme Court unanimously told the FCC to eat shit.

In 2002, singer Cher said at the live televised Billboard Music Awards, “I’ve also had my critics for the last 40 years saying that I was on my way out every year. Right. So, fuck ‘em.”

The FCC fined FOX for Cher’s unscripted acceptance speech taboo utterance. FOX fought it all the way to the Supreme Court.

In 2003, in the greatest scene on NYPD Blue ever, actress Charlotte Ross showed her entire backside and sideboob. It was the greatest scene on NYPD Blue ever. Charlotte Ross showed her entire backside and sideboob.

The FCC fined ABC for the taboo human body parts exposure. ABC fought the fine alongside FOX all the way to the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court unanimously ruled against the FCC on the grounds that their “indecent material” rule is too vague.

The FCC can no longer dictate what can be said or shown on television. Nudity and swearing can no longer be regulated. I’m pretty sure television broadcasting will not devolve into an orgy of unmitigated debauchery.

When the FCC inevitably tries to rewrite their rule so they can once again make money off of what they deem inappropriate and they’re inevitably brought to the Supreme Court again, I have a feeling the First Amendment will once more be upheld.

Other than the fact that cannabis is slightly addictive (however, far, far less than tobacco, heroin, cocaine and alcohol, and almost no withdrawal symptoms), everything else is fairly true:

Smoke’em if you got ‘em if the Fed, state and local governments ever get their heads out of their asses.

Brief History Of Marijuana In America by Comedian John Fugelsang (The Point)

The History Channel:

Reefer Madness. Actually 1936. Classic.

And for fun, here's that fucking idiot, O'Reilly belligerently arguing in circles with himself about marijuana...

In 1993, the Conservative think-tank, the Heritage Foundation proposed the ‘individual mandate’ in health care reform. Senate Republicans almost unanimously have been supporting it since then – just under 20 years. It was a major part of their alternate proposal to the Clinton health care proposal. Mitt Romney included it in his Massachusetts health care plan. The MOMENT President Obama included it in the Affordable Care Act, Republicans declared their own idea to be unconstitutional. Every single Republican that had signed onto bills supporting it in the past suddenly declared it unconstitutional. The Heritage Foundation, the designers of the ‘individual mandate’ also suddenly declared their own proposal unconstitutional.

Fuck you, you hypocritical Republican Fascists. Explain how this is not putting your Party before the welfare of the country. Never mind. Fuck you. You can’t do it without lying. Fuck you. I’m not interested in any more of your pathetic, see-through lies. Fuck you. I’m sick of listing all YOUR plans that you now oppose as soon as Obama supports it. Fuck you.

And we all know how the five fascists on the Supreme Court will rule on it later this week.

Hey, I just found out that a former head of Monsanto (fuck you, Monsanto) is the current head of the FDA. That couldn’t POSSIBLY be a conflict of interests.

Right?

Republicans hate the government. I totally understand. Children often hate the things they’re not good at.

Addicting Info

Well, this is somehow not surprising:

In Louisiana schools, the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) program is teaching that the existence of Scotland’s Loch Ness monster is proof that evolution is a hoax and that Creationism is real. And since the Earth is only 6,000 years old and Noah’s flood happened 4,000 years ago and dinosaurs lived alongside people, it’s certain that Noah rescued dinosaurs as well, so they are still here now.

And yes, thanks to Governor Bobby Halfwit Jindal, Republican of course, this religious bullshit is taxpayer funded. I thought that was unconstitutional? I guess that never stopped a Republican before. Why should it now?

Scotland is laughing at Louisiana. Of course, they’re now using our idiocy for their tourism. Come see the monster that proves *heh* Creationism, stupid Americans!

Here are some other teachings on the ACE curriculum:

-Science Proves Homosexuality is a Learned Behavior
-The Second Law of Thermodynamics Disproves Evolution
-No Transitional Fossils Exist
-Humans and Dinosaurs Co-Existed
-Evolution Has Been Disproved
-A Japanese Whaling Boat Found a Living Dinosaur
-Solar Fusion is a Myth

If I continue typing about this fucking religious fundamentalist insipience, which I consider child abuse (adult abuse as well, I guess), I’m not sure what I will do. So please enjoy this informative article and brilliant videos instead:

Well, the five fascists – sorry, Republicans, on the Supreme Court ruled that Citizens United must be upheld in all states – superseding state law. I thought fas-Rupublicans were all like “States’ rights, states’ rights, states’ rights – Federal government bad!” I guess that’s unless it clashes with a Conservative’s goal. Is there no end to their hypocritical, solely right-wing supporting bullshit? The Supreme Court is just another politically ideological group of shit-eating, fucking assholes. They uphold nothing but Party ideologies, certainly not the law.

Democracy is not dead in America. It’s just corporate owned.

And people, please stop telling me Justice Anthony Kennedy is the independent swing judge in the Court who could rule either way, Conservative or Liberal. You would have an argument there only if he fucking ONCE didn’t rule the Conservative way.

** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **

** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **

And the five fa-Republicans on the Supreme Court upheld the ‘you have to show your papers’ part of the fascist Arizona SB1070 bill.

I dare you to tell me this is the land of the free. It’s the land of WWII occupied France. Fascism at its height.

“Liberalism is trust of the people tempered by prudence. Conservatism is distrust of the people tempered by fear.” ~William E. Gladstone, 1866, British Statesman and Prime Minister 1868-1894 and the most prominent man in politics of his time, 1809-1898

I think that’s an accurate description of the two Parties in America. However, I would like to point out that Liberals seem to operate on excessive levels of trust and prudence, which creates an inability to govern effectively. Conservatives, on the other hand, have mastered the art of controlling their mindless automatons using fear and hate propaganda. Goebbels would be proud: "That propaganda is good which leads to success, and that is bad which fails to achieve the desired result. It is not propaganda’s task to be intelligent, its task is to lead to success."

The perfect storm combination of excessive prudence by rational thinking people versus mobilization by angry unthinking people is why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. And never the twain shall meet.

To leave off with some good news, Rhode Island Governor Chafee (I) has signed the first ‘Homeless Bill of Rights’ in the nation.

Oh, and last week he signed a bill raising his state’s minimum wage.

Cin-cin!

Good day.
